Laura Greenberg is a bassist from Ottawa, Canada, and tours with international blues act JW-Jones. She has performed in fifteen countries and has opened for Johnny Winter, Jimmie Vaughan, and B.B. King. In 2015, she performed on Jones’ eighth studio release “Belmont Boulevard” produced by Grammy award winner Tom Hambridge. The album earned several national award nominations in Canada, including Blues Album of the Year at the JUNO awards.
Laura began playing music in 2003, and quickly formed rock bands with friends. In 2009, she studied with Victor Wooten in Nashville, TN. Laura went on to study music at Carleton University where she was awarded the University Medal for Music. She now performs over 100 live shows each year, and finds time to appear on studio recordings in various genres including blues, jazz, country, and rock.
